Backgammon Offline: Classic app is developed as an ad supported application. This SERVICE is provided by Nurettin BARDAKCI at no cost and is intended for use as is.

This page is used to inform visitors regarding my policies with the collection, use, and disclosure of Personal Information if anyone decided to use my Service.

If you choose to use my Service, then you agree to the collection and use of information in relation to this policy. The Personal Information that I collect is used for providing and improving the Service. I will not use or share your information with anyone except as described in this Privacy Policy.

The terms used in this Privacy Policy have the same meanings as in our Terms and Conditions, accessible within the Backgammon Offline: Classic app, unless otherwise defined in this Privacy Policy.

Notice Regarding the Turkish Data Protection Law (KVKK)

As the developer is based in Türkiye, personal data processed while you use the Backgammon Offline: Classic app is processed by Nurettin BARDAKCI, acting as data controller, in accordance with Turkey's Law No. 6698 on the Protection of Personal Data ("KVKK") and the processing conditions set out in Articles 5 and 6 of the KVKK, in addition to any other data protection law that may apply to you. Your personal data is processed only for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy and is retained only for as long as necessary for those purposes; it is then deleted, destroyed, or anonymized.

Information Collection and Use

For a better experience, while using our Service, I may require you to provide us with certain personally identifiable information. The information that I request will be retained on your device and is not collected by me in any way.

The app does use third-party services (listed below) that may collect information used to identify you or your device. The advertising service in particular collects the data described in the "Advertising (AdMob)" section.

Data Stored on Your Device

Your player name, avatar, game settings, statistics, unfinished game, tutorial progress and hint tokens are stored only on your device. They are not sent to me.

Google Play Games Services

Signing in to Google Play Games Services is optional; the game can be played fully without it. If you sign in, the app receives your Play Games player name and profile picture from Google and stores them on your device to show them in your player profile. You can change your name and avatar in the app at any time. Your achievements and leaderboard scores are sent to Google Play Games Services and are processed by Google in accordance with Google's Privacy Policy.

In-App Updates and In-App Review

The app uses Google Play In-App Updates to let you know when a new version is available, and Google Play In-App Review so that you can optionally rate the app. These flows are handled by the Google Play Store. Any rating and review you give is sent directly to Google Play and processed in accordance with Google's Privacy Policy; it is not sent to me.

Log Data

I want to inform you that whenever you use my Service, in a case of an error in the app I collect data and information (through third-party products) on your phone called Log Data. This Log Data may include information such as your device Internet Protocol ("IP") address, device name, operating system version, the configuration of the app when utilizing my Service, the time and date of your use of the Service, and other statistics.

Cookies

Cookies are files with a small amount of data that are commonly used as anonymous unique identifiers. These are sent to your browser from the websites that you visit and are stored on your device's internal memory.

This Service does not use these "cookies" explicitly. However, the app may use third-party code and libraries that use "cookies" to collect information and improve their services. You have the option to either accept or refuse these cookies and know when a cookie is being sent to your device. If you choose to refuse our cookies, you may not be able to use some portions of this Service.

Advertising (AdMob)

The app shows ads through Google AdMob. To serve ads, measure how they perform and help prevent fraud, Google's Mobile Ads SDK automatically collects the following data from your device and shares it with Google:

IP address, which may be used to estimate the general (approximate) location of your device
Device and account identifiers, such as the Android advertising ID and an app set ID
Product interactions, such as app launches, taps and video views
Diagnostic information, such as app launch time, hang rate and energy usage

This data is sent to Google over an encrypted connection and is processed by Google in accordance with Google's Privacy Policy and advertising policies. I do not receive this data; I only see aggregated ad performance reports. In countries covered by the GDPR, the data is used for ad personalization only where you have given consent (see Ad Consent below).

Ad Consent (GDPR / UMP)

In countries covered by the GDPR, such as the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, and Switzerland, the app displays a consent form through Google's User Messaging Platform (UMP) the first time it is opened. This form lets you choose whether to consent to the processing of your data for ad personalization purposes. Where consent is required, you can change your choice at any time from the GDPR button at the bottom left of the app's main screen.

Your Choices and Deleting Your Data

The app has no account system. Your player name, avatar, settings, statistics, unfinished game, tutorial progress and hint tokens are stored only on your device; you can delete them at any time by clearing the app's storage in your Android settings or by uninstalling the app.

You can reset or delete your advertising ID in your Android device settings (the Ads / advertising ID settings). In countries covered by the GDPR you can review or change your ad consent at any time from the GDPR button on the app's main screen.

If you signed in to Google Play Games Services, you can sign out and manage or delete your Play Games data in the Google Play Games settings and your Google Account.

Service Providers

I may employ third-party companies and individuals due to the following reasons:

To facilitate our Service;
To provide the Service on our behalf;
To perform Service-related services; or
To assist us in analyzing how our Service is used.

I want to inform users of this Service that these third parties have access to their Personal Information. The reason is to perform the tasks assigned to them on our behalf. However, they are obligated not to disclose or use the information for any other purpose.

Security

I value your trust in providing us your Personal Information, thus we are striving to use commercially acceptable means of protecting it. But remember that no method of transmission over the internet, or method of electronic storage is 100% secure and reliable, and I cannot guarantee its absolute security.

Therefore, I strongly advise you to review the Privacy Policy of these websites. I have no control over and assume no responsibility for the content, privacy policies, or practices of any third-party sites or services.

Children's Privacy

These Services do not address anyone under the age of 18. I do not knowingly collect personally identifiable information from children under 18 years of age. In the case I discover that a child under 18 has provided me with personal information, I immediately delete it. If you are a parent or guardian and you are aware that your child has provided us with personal information, please contact me so that I will be able to do the necessary actions.

Your Rights Under the KVKK

Under Article 11 of the KVKK, with respect to your personal data you have the right to;

learn whether your personal data is being processed
request information about it if it has been processed
learn the purpose of processing and whether it is used in accordance with that purpose
know the third parties to whom it is transferred, domestically or abroad
request correction if it has been processed incompletely or incorrectly
request its deletion or destruction within the framework of the conditions set out in Article 7 of the KVKK
request that the correction, deletion, or destruction be notified to the third parties to whom the data has been transferred
object to a result that is to your detriment arising from analysis of the data exclusively through automated systems
request compensation for damages if you suffer a loss due to unlawful processing

Changes to This Privacy Policy

I may update our Privacy Policy from time to time. Thus, you are advised to review this page periodically for any changes. I will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page.
