Backgammon Offline: Classic brings the timeless backgammon board game to your phone and tablet. You can play offline too, and no account is needed — just you, the dice and the board. Play single player against the computer or two player with a friend on one device.
2 Player Face-to-Face on One Device
Lay your phone or tablet flat on the table and sit across from a friend, just like at a real backgammon board. Each player's panel, dice, buttons and messages face their own side, so nobody has to turn the device around. At the end of each game, both players get their own result box, facing them. Prefer sitting side by side? Set both players to the same direction in a tap. The perfect two player board game for home, travel or a café.
Play Backgammon vs Computer
Challenge the AI on three levels: Easy, Medium and Hard. Win 3 matches on Easy to unlock Medium, and 5 matches on Medium to unlock Hard. Choose 3, 5 or 7-point matches.
Hints: The Best Move
Stuck? When playing against the computer, the Hint button shows the best move on the board, chosen by the strongest computer level. If you run out of hint tokens, you get a free one every day — and when you roll doubles, luck may be on your side.
Learn to Play Backgammon
Never played before? 10 interactive lessons teach you step by step: the board and direction of play, moving checkers, blocked points, doubles, hitting and the bar, entering from the bar, playing both dice, bearing off, winning (gammon and backgammon) and the opening roll. You roll the dice and move the checkers yourself, with hints whenever you need them.
Your Rules
Play with the Turkish opening (the higher roller rolls again) or international rules (the higher roller plays the opening dice). Decide whether a backgammon counts as 3 points and who starts each new game.
Make It Yours
4 wooden boards, 10 checker color sets, light and dark themes, board direction and animation speed. Pick your name and avatar.
Comfortable Play
Possible moves are highlighted — tap a checker, then tap where it goes, or simply drag it. Made a mistake? Undo your move. Turn on move confirmation to review and undo your moves before ending your turn. Once contact is broken, tap Auto and the game plays your remaining checkers for you. Forgot to roll or confirm? A reminder pops up. Sound effects, vibration, and confetti when you win the match.
Always Ready
Your unfinished game is saved automatically, so you can continue right where you left off. Follow your progress in Statistics.
